The Heating and Cooling Stage Top Incubator employes a bubbling column to humidify the gas prior to the inlet in the stage top chamber.

The bubbling column is immersed in the water bath and a pre-heating coil ensures thermal equilibrium between the flowing gas and the water bath.

The tube connecting the bubbling column to the stage top chamber is isolated to prevent water condensation.
